Grenada and the surrounding areas, the most beautiful places I've seen! Like a photo wallpaper that a friend had on the wall when I was a teenager. A favor to experience this. Then we have the wishes that came true. I asked Malin: Do you think there is a chance to see dolphins? Malin replies: There's a gang coming behind you! Oh my God! As ordered! It was as easy as ordering a rum punch 😊. Even on the return journey they appeared. But the coolest thing was the tuna! We had been confirmed that it was tuna that we saw jumping around from time to time. When we later sailed back to Grenada after our lovely stay at Sandy Island & Paradise Beach, I asked Lennart to start fishing and catch a tuna, as I have never eaten fresh tuna before. It took approx. 30 minutes and we had it on the hook. A nice rascal of, if I remember correctly, 5.5 kg & 60 cm long. Everyone was excited and Lennart had a hard time but was doing well with the rod. What joy! What a good dinner it was!

We saw turtles and a bat fishing. Totally amazing! We took a guided tour with the world's nicest and most knowledgeable guide. He was on the verge of talking too much, but he had so much to tell and he showed us nice places. At the end of the trip, he played the accordion while driving. NO!! I mean harmonica. But admit that the trip would have been really exciting if he played the accordion while driving 😁.

I was fascinated by the beautiful women. They were tall, colorful and held their heads high. It was very nice what we saw and experienced. I felt a little bit sick from the heat, but I could swim almost whenever I wanted. I’d like to mention the occasion when we were sitting at a small restaurant at Paradise Beach. We were still sitting in the shade, but it was getting hotter and hotter and there was no fan. After a while I "sort of" panicked. It just didn't work for me anymore. I got to go into the sea with my clothes on and stay there for a while. Then I went back in soaked clothes and sat down at the table again. How lucky they had plastic chairs and a wooden trolley. The heat was tough, I must admit, but all the beauty and glory outweighed it all. I feel grateful that I got to make this trip and that I got to come and live in your nice boat. I am also grateful for the excellent service on board. Malin & Lennart usually cooked the food, me & Tinne washed the dishes. Captain Christer helped in the kitchen sometimes but often fixed up with other maintenance and preparations with the boat. Malin baked bread for breakfast. How luxurious wasn’t that?

It was nice to see that you are doing so well on your trip and that you are getting along so well. There is so much to be thankful for.

Hugs
Yvonne

Kram
Yvonne
